Order Changes and Cancellations

Please ensure all details are correct as once an order is placed no changes or cancellations can be made. 

Once you have placed an order via our website you will immediately receive a confirmation email. This is automatically generated. Please ensure your delivery details are correct before submitting as they can't be changed once an order is placed. At times once an order is placed it is immediately processed at our warehouse. 

For all orders that are returned due to an incorrect address, you will be charged a fee of $12 for repacking and postage.

If your package is going to a workplace, please include the business name so that it arrives promptly.

All our styles advertised should be in stock. Very occasionally we may unexpectedly run out of a style and if this happens, we will offer a refund or exchange.


Please be mindful when purchasing online as colours may vary from screen to product purchased. If you are unsure about the colour of a certain product, please email and we will be happy to help.

Please note that we only offer exchanges on "change of mind" goods, if the item has been unopened, unused and in their original packaging at the shipping cost of the purchaser.

Unwashed and unused items in their original condition may be returned or exchanged once approved by our Customer Service Team within 14 days of order receipt.

Sale items and products marked as 'SECONDS' are not eligible for returns. 

To submit a return please email with your name, order number, the item(s) you wish to return and the reason for the return.

As The Beach People is not liable for the loss of an item being returned we recommend that you return it using registered mail.

Problem with Received Order

All orders are checked prior to shipping. Very rarely, our warehouse team may mistakenly add or omit an item to an order.

If you are missing an item or have received an incorrect item, please contact with your order number and a description of the issue. All missing or incorrect items must be reported to customer service within 7 days of delivery.

Items reported missing more than 7 days after delivery will not be eligible for refund, or replacement.

All products are checked prior to posting. Should a product be faulty The Beach People will replace the goods. You have up to thirty (30) days, from the date your order arrives, to notify The Beach People about an issue with your purchase along with a photo of the fault.

If you are returning or exchanging a faulty, damaged or incorrect item we will pay for the packaging and postage costs.

However, we are unable to offer free delivery for 'change of mind' returns or exchanges.

Refunds will be processed using the original tender type. EFTPOS/Credit Card refunds must be processed against the original card details (the exact card used to make the original purchase).
